I kind of like the way the shadow elongates and deforms, and makes me look grotesque.  It’s almost as if the shadow reveals what’s going on inside my body, while to look at me directly, I appear completely normal – no physical signs of disability.  The only way people know there is something wrong with me is if I tell them, or if I am using a walking aid – cane, crutches or a wheelchair, depending on the severity of the day.
